SCOPE OF WORK TO RECONDITION NORTON GRINDER

1) SEMINOLE MACHINERY to disassemble grinder, clean and check base for excessive wear and stress fractures.
2) Clean and inspect component parts, replace any component parts that are worn or broken with remanufactured parts.
3) Grind, Scrape and Flake traverse table ways to original tolerance.
4) Grind, Scrape and Flake cross slide ways to original tolerance.
5) Re-build grinding wheel spindle as necessary.
6) Re-build hydraulic pump. Re-pair as necessary all hydraulic valves. NEW Filters & Hoses
7) Re-build lubrication system as necessary with New & Rebuilt PARTS
8) Re-build HEADSTOCK as necessary, Install NEW Headstock Variable Speed Drive & Motor
9) Re-build TAILSTOCK AS NECESSARY
10) Hand feed assembly to be completely disassembled, cleaned and inspected.
INSTALL NEW BEARINGS & NEW COMPONENTS AS NECESSARY
11) Electrics: New or rebuilt components as necessary
ALL ELECTRIC MOTORS REBUILT WITH NEW BEARINGS
All push bottoms to be repaired as necessary.
12) Coolant tank cleaned and checked.
COOLANT PUMP REBUILT
13) MACHINE to be thoroughly cleaned and painted with industrial grade Dupont Dulex epoxy paint.
